We’re huge fans of things that help you build up an audience on a platform to engage with over time. Of course, we’re the biggest fans of this happening when it’s an email list (but those of you with the new Gmail tab interface know even that can be troublesome).
However, for all bad things – you can often find good in the world too. Just recently, Google finally added a pretty (and official) subscribe button for YouTube!
There are several different types you can choose from, which are pictured below.
You can have either of these available with a dark background if that would better match your site’s branding. We’re a light background site, so we are showing both in light.
Getting Started & What’s Next

It doesn’t get much easier than that.
You can bet that myself and the team are looking at ways to help brands integrate the new YouTube subscribe into key areas of our apps that will help brands bolster their following on YouTube.
After all YouTube is the 3rd most popular site on the internet with more than 4 billion views per day. Can you afford to not be building an audience there?
